Write For Moot
Our writers must be:
- Knowledgeable and passionate about liberal politics, civil liberties, freedom and current events
- Able to write about politics and news (not merely opinion pieces although we have a place for those as well).
- Talented writers with no need for grammar/spelling edits
- Experienced in WordPress usage
- Detail-oriented
- Experienced in blog or journalistic writing
- Flexible and able to accept assignments if needed
- Preferably reside in Texas
How do I apply to become a Moot writer?
For consideration as a Moot writer, please go through the following steps after reviewing the site and getting an idea of our voice and the style of articles we look for. We can not respond to inquiries that are unaccompanied by a writing sample.
1) Send links to work or a brief political writing sample to editor@moot magazine.com for review. We are not farming content and will not use your work if we do not contract with you. Guaranteed.
2) Our editors will review your writing. If you seem to be a good fit for us, we will be in touch.
